20 Minute Bacon, Feta and Mushroom Pasta

Step 1
Chop the mushrooms, thyme, garlic, basil and parsley. Dice the bacon and fry in olive oil, then get the pasta on to boil
Step 2
Add thyme and garlic to the bacon once it has cooked through and browned. Mix well and sautรฉ on a low heat
Step 3
Add butter and, once melted, add mushrooms and basil
Step 4
Once the mushrooms have cooked down, add flour and allow to cook for a minute on a low heat. Then add cream and stir well until the sauce begins to thicken
Step 5
Crumble in the feta and add the parsley. Season with salt to taste and pepper and mix well. Cook on a medium-low heat and add a little milk if the sauce gets too thick
Step 6
Add the cooked pasta with a little pasta water and cook for 2 minutes. Serve with fresh parsley and enjoy!
