Step 1
Slice your pastry into the size you would like your tart to be and lightly score the dough with a knife to make the outline for where the filling will go
Step 2
Spread the chutney onto the pastry and slice 3 circles of cheese to top. Whisk the egg and brush it over the edges for a shiny egg wash and, if you want, sprinkle thyme and pepper over the top
Step 3
Cook in the oven for 10 minutes or until golden brown and enjoy!
