Ingredients

Method

Step 1

Boil the pasta with 2tsp salt and drain after 8 minutes. Dice the onion, pepper and garlic and slice the chicken and set aside for later

Step 2

Whilst the pasta’s cooking, fry the bacon until crispy on both sides, chop into small pieces and set aside on a plate

Step 3

Heat the olive oil in a large pan and add the chicken, 1tsp Italian mixed herbs, 1/2tsp garlic granules, salt and pepper

Step 4

Mix and fry before adding the onion and pepper into the pan, stir and fry for a further 2 minutes

Step 5

Add in the diced garlic and the tomato purée. Stir into the chicken and veg and fry for another 2 mins

Step 6

Add the chopped tomatoes and crème fraiche, mix and add the pasta and bacon

Step 7

Add 1/4 tsp of salt, pepper and mixed herbs and then stir everything together thoroughly

Step 8

Pour into a large baking tray and top with cheddar and mozzarella and bake for 25 minutes at 180ºC, top with parsley, serve and enjoy!
