Chilli Cheese Toast

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit (220C) Start by grating your cheddar (room temperature) and adding it to a mixing bowl

Step 2

Next, thinly slice your spring onions and finely dice your red chilli (quantity depending on your desired heat)

Step 3

Add the spring onion and red chilli to the cheddar in the mixing bowl. Season generously with black pepper. Combine all your ingredients using a spoon or your hands until a dense ball is formed

Step 4

Next, lightly toast your bread. Once toasted, split the ball in two and spread half over each slice of toast. Make sure you spread the cheese mixture right to the edges

Step 5

Place your toast on a baking tray and place into the oven for 5-10 minutes at 425 degrees Fahrenheit (220C). In the meantime, crack open a beer and enjoy your chilli cheese toast hot!
