Method
Step 1
Roughly chop the red onion and add to a food processor along with the chickpeas, garlic, coriander, parsley, flour, salt, cumin, pepper, ground coriander, onion granules, harissa paste and the juice of the lemon
Step 2
Blend until you have a rough doughy mixture
Step 3
Coat your hands in flour to avoid sticking and shape the falafel
Step 4
Place the falafel on a lined baking tray and in the freezer for 30 minutes
Step 5
Heat oil in a frying pan until sizzling hot and drop in the falafel to cook. Doubly fry to brown nicely. Serve and enjoy!
