Method

Step 1

Soak the dried chickpeas in water for 24h

Step 2

Rinse soaked chickpeas and place in a food processor together with the rest of the ingredients

Step 3

Process until you get the right consistency, you want to be able to form a ball without the dough filling apart. You can add a bit of chickpea flour if needed

Step 4

With a spoon, scoop small amounts of the dough and form balls using your hands

Step 5

Place in an air fryer and cook for 20 minutes, flipping the falafels halfway. (I had to make 2 rounds to fit all the falafels in the air fryer)
