Ingredients

Method

Step 1

In a jug, mix the milk, sugar and yeast with 40ml tepid water and set aside

Step 2

In a large bowl, mix plain flour and salt

Step 3

When the yeast mixture has bloomed, add into the flour and mix until it starts to form a dough

Step 4

Place the dough onto a floured surface and knead for around 5-10 minutes until smooth

Step 5

Coat a bowl with olive oil and add the dough. Roll until the dough is also covered, then allow to prove for 1 hour

Step 6

Once the dough has proved and doubled in size, slice into 6 equal pieces and roll out. When you have a nice, round shape, repeat with the other pieces

Step 7

Place a little olive oil into a pan on a medium heat and cook for roughly 2 minutes on each side until they begin to bubble. Serve and enjoy!
