Ham and Cheese Pasta

Serves 4


Step 1

Start by adding 1tbsp salt to some boiling water for the pasta and then get the pasta on to boil. Finely dice the onion and garlic and slice the ham into small squares

Step 2

Whilst the pasta is boiling, sweat the onion in olive oil for about 4 minutes before adding the garlic. Fry for a couple of minutes and the add sliced ham, salt, pepper, parsley and mustard

Step 3

Fry for another 2 minutes before adding frozen peas, cheddar and parmesan along with a spoonful of pasta water (you can adjust the amount of pasta water depending on how thick you want the sauce to be) and then the drained pasta. Stir it all together and youโ€™re ready to serve
