Serves 6


Step 1

To make your dough, add your flour to a large mixing bowl. Add the yeast to one side of the bowl and the fine salt to the other, then mix everything together. Make a well in the middle of the flour, add 2tbsp of oil and then gradually add the water until you have a sticky dough. Knead your dough for 5-10 minutes until soft and less sticky, then place into a clean bowl. Cover with clingfilm and leave for 1 hour, until doubled in size

Step 2

Oil a rectangular tray. Transfer your dough from the bowl into the tray and gently stretch it out until it fits

Step 3

Slice the tomatoes in half, then add to the top of your dough. Sprinkle the chives over, then cover with a tea towel and leave to prove for another hour. Preheat your oven to 220 degrees celsius (200 fan)

Step 4

Bake your bread for 20 minutes, then remove it from the oven. While it is still hot, drizzle it with some olive oil and some sea salt flakes. This can be served with the dip of your choice
