Krispy Kreme Doughnut Burger

A delicious double bacon cheeseburger sandwiched between a toasted Krispy Kreme doughnut


Serves 2


Step 1
Preheat your oven to 200ºC fan, then lay the bacon on a lined baking tray and cook for around 20 minutes or until crispy
Step 2
Add the mince to a bowl and add the breadcrumbs, ketchup, salt and pepper and mix well, then divide evenly into 4 balls
Step 3
Sandwich each of the balls between greaseproof paper and flatten them out with a plate
Step 4
Get a pan on a medium-high heat and cook the burgers for a few minutes on each side until browned and cooked all the way through
Step 5
Whilst the burgers are cooking, mix the mayonnaise and chipotle paste to make chipotle mayo
Step 6
Slice the doughnuts through the middle and toast in a pan until slightly toasted on the inside
Step 7
Place 2 burgers on a baking sheet and top with cheese, then another burger and place cheese on top, followed by bacon. Place the burger stack on the bottom side of the donut, spread chipotle mayo on top then put the top of the doughnut on top and top with crispy onions. Serve with fries and enjoy!
