Whisk two eggs together. Put some oil into a pan and let it heat up. Scramble the eggs, and set aside for later

Dice your onion and red pepper. Sweat the onions in the pan along with the red pepper and return the scrambled egg. Mince the garlic into the pan and stir well to combine

Using day old rice, add it to the pan and stir. Add in shrimp paste and allow to melt down slightly before combining it with the mixture

Drizzle in kecap and stir to combine, go in with salt and sesame oil and mix well on a medium-high

Remove everything from the pan and add in some more oil. Crack your remaining egg and fry it.

Serve the rice with freshly chopped spring onion on top and your fried egg
