Serves 1


Step 1
Season the steak well on both sides and leave in the freezer for 45 mins
Step 2
Dice the onion and put the side. Finely chop the garlic and parsley and add to a bowl with a stick of butter, then mix well
Step 3
Slice the roll in half and spread with the garlic and parsley butter
Step 4
Thinly slice the steak into strips and get a pan on a medium high heat. Add the onions, season well and cook down
Step 5
Add 1tbsp butter and once they start to caramelise, put to the side
Step 6
Toast the roll in the pan, then set aside once golden
Step 7
Turn the heat up to high and sear the steak on both sides. Once cooked, add the onions, top with provolone and cover. When the cheese has melted, add to the roll, serve and enjoy!
