Salted Caramel Brownie Cups

Serves 2


Step 1

Preheat an oven to 180 degrees Celsius (160 fan). Add your butter and chocolate to a bowl, and place into the microwave in 30 second bursts until melted. Then, allow to cool for 15 minutes

Step 2

Add one egg and caster sugar, whisk until combined. Then, add your plain flour and fold it in until combined

Step 3

Fold in your chocolate chips and scoop a quarter of your batter into a ramekin. Make a well in the middle and add a teaspoon of salted caramel sauce, then add another quarter of the batter and spread the top out to all edges

Step 4

Sprinkle some more chocolate chips onto the top and place the ramekins into the oven at 180 degrees Celsius (160 fan) for 15-17 minutes until the tops are slightly cracked. If you leave them in too long, the caramel might overflow
