Shakshouka with Feta Cheese

Serves 2


Step 1

Drizzle 2tbsp olive oil over the sourdough and season with salt, then toast until golden brown and crispy and set aside

Step 2

Mince the garlic and chop the shallots

Step 3

Heat 2tbsp olive oil in a frying pan, then add the shallots and garlic and fry until caramelised

Step 4

Add cumin seeds and chilli flakes and, once the cumin has started to pop, add garam masala and mix well

Step 5

Add the chopped tomatoes and crack in the eggs. Cover and cook until the egg whites have hardened

Step 6

Crumble the feta over the shakshuka, then drizzle over cream and olive oil. Season with thyme, salt and pepper, serve and enjoy!
