Step 1
Boil the rice until soft with cardamom pods. Chop the cabbage, carrot, bell pepper, mushrooms, onion and chilli
Step 2
Whilst that’s boiling, break up the tofu and add to a frying pan with turmeric and garlic. Mix well, cook for a few minutes and then set aside
Step 3
Add a little sesame oil to the pan, then fry the carrot, cabbage, bell pepper, mushrooms and onion. Add Chinese 5 spice and teriyaki and stir, then leave to cook for a few minutes
Step 4
Add rice vinegar and chilli, then re-add the tofu. Add the rice along with a drizzle of sesame oil, mix well until the rice is crispy, then serve and enjoy!
