Not sure what to cook tonight? It has to be this steak ramen.

Step 1
To start, slice your steak into cubes or strips.
Step 2
To achieve an umami flavour, soak your porcini mushrooms in a bowl of boiling water for ten minutes.
Step 3
In the meantime, boil an egg for exactly six minutes and then transfer into a bowl of cold water with ice cubes in.
Step 4
Begin to cook your noodles as per the packet instructions. Meanwhile, get a pan on a high heat and fry your steak for one minute per side. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 5
Add your butter into your pan with the steak in and baste your slices well.
Step 6
Drain the water from your ramen and pour on the mushroom stock made earlier. Add in your steak and the sauce from the noodles, toss and combine well. Fry for one minute and add your porcini mushrooms.
Step 7
Assemble by peeling an halving your egg, then place your ramen into a bowl with the egg on top. Garnish with chopped spring onion and sesame seeds. Serve and enjoy!
