Ingredients (15)

Serves 1

1/2 lb shrimp

2 tbsp + 1 tsp salt

2 tbsp + 1 tsp pepper

2 tbsp + 1 tsp garlic powder

2 tsp old bay

1 tsp paprika

Tri-tip steak

5 cloves garlic

Thyme

Sage

Rosemary

2 cups heavy cream

1 cup parmesan

200g linguine

2 tbsp lemon juice

Method

Step 1

Mix the shrimp with 1 tbsp salt, pepper, garlic powder, and teaspoons of paprika and old bay. Combine well, and set aside


Step 2

Sprinkle the steak on both sides with teaspoons of salt, pepper and garlic powder, and rub well


Step 3

Heat some oil in a very hot pan, then sear the steak on both sides for 3 minutes


Step 4

Meanwhile melt a tablespoon of butter in a table spoon of butter with half the garlic and the parsley, then add the shrimp and fry on both sides


Step 5

Next, add a tablespoon more butter along with the rest of the garlic and the rest of the herbs. Turn the heat down and baste the steaks


Step 6

Finish the shrimp with lemon, then remove from the pan and stir in the heavy cream with the remaining seasoning and stir well on a low heat


Step 7

Take the steak out to rest for 6 minutes, and at the same time, stir in the parmesan to the cream


Step 8

Finally, cook the pasta, and as soon as its done, stir into the cream then serve with the steak and shrimp!
